What's happening?
Apple introduced device-level age verification in iOS 26.4 in response to the UK's Online Safety Act. Until you confirm your age, your iPhone may restrict access to websites and apps that are classified as adult services, including dating sites like Christian Connection.
You might be seeing one of these messages:
In Safari:
"Website Not Allowed – 'christianconnection.com' is a restricted website."
In the Christian Connection app:
"Error loading page – The page could not be loaded due to a configuration error."
Neither of these means there's anything wrong with Christian Connection or your account. It's an iPhone setting that needs a one-time update.
How to fix it
You should see (or have already seen) a prompt from Apple that says:
"Confirm You Are 18+"
UK law requires you to confirm you are an adult to change content restrictions.
If you haven't completed this yet, here's how:
Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
Tap your name at the top
Look for a message about confirming your age, and tap it
Tap Continue and follow the steps
Apple will try to confirm your age automatically using information already on your account, such as a credit card on file or the length of time you've had your Apple Account. For many people, this takes just a few seconds. If that doesn't work automatically, you can verify using:
A credit card (debit cards are not accepted)
A government-issued photo ID, such as a driving licence
Apple's age check doesn't share any personal information with Christian Connection.
What if I don't have a credit card or photo ID?
If you don't have one of the accepted forms of ID, Apple suggests applying for a PASS-accredited proof-of-age card (such as a CitizenCard), which is accepted under UK rules. You can apply online using your birth certificate and National Insurance number.
This is an Apple requirement and, unfortunately, isn't something Christian Connection can change or bypass on your behalf.
Still not working?
If you've completed the age verification but still can't access Christian Connection, try:
Force-closing the Christian Connection app and reopening it
Restarting your iPhone or iPad
Visiting christianconnection.com in Safari to check whether the browser restriction has cleared
